I really appreciate the 2025 CCE for offering me a chance to manifest my cultivation and insights into Chinese cultural heritage as the Music Director.

Musical Arrangements & Oversight

My main efforts were on 2 performances, while I helped rehearsed all other musical performances. Utilizing my knowledge of modern musical arrangement and knowledge on Chinese ethnic instruments, I wrote arrangements for the specific instruments and vocals and directed the following two performances and coordinated tech files with the theater tech crew.

The student parent and Oscar, had no prior experience of singing before being invited to the performance by Madam Li. I took responsibility of rehearsing with them, directing bi-weekly vocal practices. After a month, at the final showcase, our collective effort paid off.
