I was raised by the Grand Bazaar in Urumgi where Islamic culture and the Han Chinese culture blend. Having experienced drastic changes in living environment, from Urumqi to Shanghai, and then Changshu, l seek for ways to explore and preserve my fragmented regional and national identity.
